Assumes a devoted fan — one who subscribes and listens primarily to you. On AllDefiant, $4 of every $5 fan subscription reaches artists, time-proportional (patent pending). If a fan splits listening with other artists, your share scales down accordingly. Spotify comparison assumes ~30 streams per fan per month at ~$0.003/stream.

How do fans pay to stream my music?

Fans subscribe at $5/mo. 80% goes to artists through our patent-pending, time-proportional payout system. When a fan is referred by another artist: $3 to the artists they actually listen to (by listen time) + $1 to the referring artist. When a fan comes in organically (no referrer): the full $4 goes to the artists they listen to. The remaining $1 keeps the platform running. No global pool, no algorithm.

How much do I actually earn per fan?

A devoted fan who only listens to you = $3/mo (if they came in through another artist's referral link) or $4/mo (organic). If YOU referred them, add your $0.75 referrer cut (or full $1.00 as a Founding Beta Artist). Multi-artist listeners split time-proportionally by actual listen time (patent pending) — unlike Spotify, the pool isn't diluted by every other artist on the platform, only the ones this fan actually plays.

Can I split revenue with bandmates, a manager, or a label?

Yes. You can share streaming, album sales, tips, and fan-club revenue with collaborators, band members, a manager, or a label — each at a percentage you both agree to. Invite them from your dashboard; nothing is shared until they accept, and splits only apply to earnings going forward, never to money you've already made. Each person is paid directly to their own account — we don't pool or hold it between you. Merch profit and crypto payments aren't split.

What's the Founding Artist Program?

The first 100 artists on AllDefiant. The full $1/mo recurring per referred fan (vs the standard $0.75), locked in forever — even after the program closes. See /founding-artist for details.

What audio quality is supported?

FLAC (lossless) for fan club members and subscribers. 320kbps MP3 for standard access. 128kbps preview for non-subscribers. You control what each tier gets.

Do I need a distributor?

No. You upload directly to AllDefiant — no middleman, no distributor fees. We're in private beta, so a human approves every artist account first (no bot catalogs); once you're in, upload today and fans can stream today.

What countries are supported?

Fans can pay from 195+ countries. Artists can receive payouts via Stripe (46 countries), Paystack (5 African countries), or Xendit (Southeast Asia). 33 currencies supported.
