By uploading music, recordings, artwork, or other content to AllDefiant, you grant AllDefiant a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free direct mechanical and performance rights license to reproduce, distribute, stream, publicly perform, and display that content on and in connection with the platform. This license exists only to let AllDefiant operate the platform and pay you per the published revenue splits. You retain full ownership of your content. The license terminates when you remove the content or close your account.
AllDefiant pays artists from a defined artist pool plus direct-recruit referral splits (MemberShare). Fan subscription payouts are time-proportional, based on listening with a 15-second qualifying threshold. Creator (artist) subscriptions route a fixed share to AllDefiant and TipJar Live for platform operations and a fixed share into the MemberShare pool for recruiting splits.
The complete, numeric breakdown of splits (artist pool, MemberShare, TJL and T-1 platform shares, tips, tickets, merch, fan clubs) is maintained and updated in the artist-facing Splits Reference. Artists will be notified when splits are adjusted and will be prompted to re-accept if material changes affect their payouts.
AllDefiant will not use uploaded music or artwork to train generative AI systems that produce music, vocals, or lyrics. AllDefiant may use AI for classification, recommendation, and audio fingerprinting in service of serving your music to fans and preserving your copyrights on and off platform. Any new AI use case requires your separate written consent.
AllDefiant will not sell, assign, or license your music for advertising, film, TV, games, or other third-party sync uses without your separate written consent. AllDefiant's own marketing of your music on and in connection with the platform is not restricted by this clause.
You affirm that the music you upload is the product of meaningful human creative authorship. AI tools that enhance creative work (mastering, mixing, textures under human-composed songs) are permitted; uploads where AI generated the core musical content (melody, composition, lyrics, or vocals) without meaningful human creative input are not. If you use AI tools in production, you are solely responsible for holding the commercial rights from those tools and for the resulting work.
You represent that you own or have cleared all rights needed to upload your content, including rights from co-writers, featured artists, labels, sample owners, and any AI tools used in production. You agree to indemnify AllDefiant for any claims arising from a breach of this representation.
AllDefiant does not host adult content. Uploads principally intended for sexual arousal are not permitted. Explicit lyrics in otherwise non-pornographic music are not adult content; the line is primary intent.
You are personally responsible for the content you upload. AllDefiant is a platform operator, not the publisher or author of your work, and does not take on liability for what users upload. AllDefiant will not voluntarily share user data. Valid legal process (subpoena, warrant, court order) is required. AllDefiant will challenge requests that appear overbroad, unconstitutional, or improperly issued, and will notify affected users of legal requests for their data whenever not legally prohibited from doing so. When valid legal process compels disclosure, AllDefiant complies narrowly and only to the extent legally required.
AllDefiant may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be surfaced to artists with a prompt to re-accept before continuing to use the platform under the new version. The text you accept at signup is preserved on your application record as a defensible audit trail.
